Cindy Hoxie Dain holds the Master of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from Florida State University-Tallahassee, Florida. She also studied music at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and as a Graduate Fellow in Paris, France. Mrs. Dain performed as a clarinetist with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra for 25 years and is currently the Music Specialist at Discovery Elementary in Palm Bay, Florida. She holds a Florida Teaching Certificate with a Music Education specialty, grades K-12, and has twice received the Teacher of the Year Award from the Brevard County Schools. She is a member of the Music Educator’s Association (MENC), Florida Music Educators Association (FMEA and FEMEA) and the International Clarinet Society.
